Revolutionizing Care,
Transforming Lives.
Diagnostic Areas of Focus
Over 50 million people globally suffer from epilepsy, with seizures risking injury, falls, or worse. We're exploring seizure prediction technologies to help patients take protective steps to reduce impacts or even prevent seizures.
More than 4 in 10 adults have high cholesterol and don’t even know it, significantly raising their risk of irreversible heart disease. We’re running a study to non-invasively detect the presence of high cholesterol in patients and to determine the effects of statin treatment on these patients. We’re nearing the end of this study with promising empirical evidence on the horizon.
Shortness of breath - or dyspnea - may indicate respiratory or cardiovascular disease, complicating the determination of proper care for patients presenting with this common symptom. We’re developing a solution to quickly differentiate between the cardiovascular and pulmonary origins of dyspnea to facilitate prompt and accurate treatment.
Adults with diabetes have a twofold risk of dying from heart conditions or stroke, highlighting the importance of early detection and effective management. We're developing a painless, non-invasive tool for detecting diabetes and monitoring glucose levels using a consumable-free approach.
Over one million people die from tuberculosis every year due to limited access to testing and treatment. We're developing a real-time, high-yield screening tool in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Screening mammograms cost the US healthcare system over $4 billion annually. We're developing an early breast cancer screening tool poised to offer substantial economic savings, reduce discomfort and radiation risks, tackle existing screening challenges such as dense breast tissue, and enhance global access.
Even though lung cancer is often diagnosed in its later stages due to delayed symptom onset, only 5% of eligible individuals underwent screenings in the United States in 2022. Early detection is critical to boosting survival rates and reducing treatment costs, underscoring the urgent need for the innovative screening tool we’re developing.
